Sean joined Lightspeed in 2007 and is primarily responsible for the financial accounting and reporting for the firm's limited partnerships, general partnerships and its management companies. Sean has eight years of venture capital industry experience and nine years of finance and operating experience.
Prior to joining Lightspeed, Sean was the Finance Manager for BlueRun Ventures, where his responsibilities included financial accounting and reporting for the firm's limited partnerships, monitoring portfolio company metrics and providing general financial support to the fund's investment team.
Prior to BlueRun Ventures, Sean spent six years at Silicon Valley Bank in various roles, including managing the bank’s warrant portfolio and investing the bank’s portfolio of fixed income securities as a part of the treasury group.
Sean holds an MS in Financial Analysis and Investment Management from St. Mary's and a BS in Finance from San Jose State University.
