David joined Lightspeed in 2009 and focuses primarily on investments in China across multiple sectors including cleantech, Internet, software, consumer services and manufacturing.
Previously, David worked as Project Leader at The Boston Consulting Group in Shanghai, focusing on various industries including consumer goods, industrial goods, energy and automotive. He helped multiple clients to develop China growth & turnaround strategies, identify new business opportunities, M&A targets, and conduct commercial due diligence. Prior to BCG, David worked as Senior and Principal Consultant at IBM & PwC, focusing mainly on SAP software implementations.
David holds a MBA degree from MIT Sloan School of Management, and a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
